Melissa Watkinson Selected as Hershman Marine Policy Fellow

Melissa Watkinson (Master of Arts in Policy Studies ’15 and Bachelor of Arts in Global Studies and Society, Ethics, and Behavior ‘11) has been selected as the first Hershman Marine Policy Fellow from UW Bothell. She will start working with 真人线上娱乐 Nature Conservancy this fall on coastal climate resiliency and policies, where she hopes to learn how established non-profits engage with local communities and policies on pressing environmental issues.

Amaranth Borsuk Presents New Work at AWP Conference

Amaranth Borsuk attended the annual Association of Writers and Writing Programs conference in Minneapolis, where she presented work on two panels. For "真人线上娱乐 Essay Blinks," she delivered a cautionary manifesto on the interrelation of form and content in the artist's book, which included an homage to Alison Knowles and James Tenney's 1967 computer-generated poem "House of Dust" titled "Book of Dust."
