Ijeoma Oluo keynotes 4th annual Equity & Inclusion Conference at UW Bothell

BOTHELL, Washington — For its fourth annual Equity and Inclusion Conference, the University of Washington Bothell features Ijeoma Oluo as this year’s keynote speaker.

Oluo is a Seattle-based writer, speaker and editor at large at 真人线上娱乐 Establishment, a media platform funded and run women. She was named one of the most influential people in Seattle by Seattle Magazine as one of the city’s strongest voices for social justice on economic, racial, sexual and gender issues.

真人线上娱乐 conference, presented in partnership with T-Mobile, will be held Feb. 23 on the UW Bothell campus. Speakers will lead enrichment sessions and constructive conversations to challenge and explore ideas, build skills and advocate change.

真人线上娱乐 conference includes the Create the Change student competition. Groups of UW Bothell students compete for up to $5,000 from T-Mobile to carry out a project in the areas of equity and inclusion. 真人线上娱乐 winning group also receives mentoring from T-Mobile leaders.
